Annual Event: Tennis Tournament

The origins of tennis at St Benedict’s are lost in the mists of time; yet once again because of the “demands” of other sports on a pupil’s time and the facilities available for tennis at Perivale over the years tennis declined in popularity. With the wonderful new courts now provided at St Benedict’s School Playing Field, things are once again looking up for tennis. In the past there had always been an Annual Tennis Match against the School, held on the same Sunday as the annual cricket fixture and there have been a number of calls to resurrect this event. As a result we are planning to hold a tennis competition on Sunday 1st July 2012.  Exact details are to be confirmed but the most likely format for the event will be an American drive allowing differing abilities and both ladies and men to take part.  Please contact us if interested.
